Food Service and Food Handler’s Permits

Food Service Permit

The Andrew County Commission adopted the Andrew County Food Service Sanitation Ordinance in 2009.  This Ordinance governs the construction, renovation, and operation of Food Service Establishments within Andrew County.  The Ordinance can be found here.  The Andrew County Food Service Permit Application can be found here.

In accordance with the Andrew County Food Ordinance Section 4-.04: Establishments with a priority rating of high or medium shall have at least one in every three employees on duty during all hours of operation that has successfully completed the ServSafe exam or has a Food Handlers Card. 

In order to accommodate the Food Establishments of Andrew County, the Andrew County Health Department has teamed with StateFoodSafety.com to offer an online option to obtain a food handler’s permit at: https://www.statefoodsafety.com/food-handler/andrew-county-missouri-food-handlers-permit
